And The Winner Is
With much pomp and circumstance, the Johannesburg chapter of the SA Blog Awards 2005 was held at Cool Runnings in Melville last night.
We met loads of cool guys and girls (hey more than one pitched up this time) including the Chump-Stylers, Splattermail dudes and Armand, Thea and Mailowl from the dotnet gang. It was great meeting JeanPant.com, Gabbahead, Mzanzi Africa and everyone else who was there.
Thanks to the great organisation skills of the Jo’blog guys, things went without a hitch, up to the point where the Salami decided to drop his rods. Rich…! even slapped Wezzo around a bit as well.
Noticeably absent was wab, who made a bit of a fuss about the awards some time ago.
Everyone also agreed that RSS feeds should be compulsory for blogs, so get with the program.
All and all, we had loads of fun.

Hey Redsaid, firstly congrats on winning Best writing of a SA blog and being runner up for the Best overseas SA blog.
I don't think your sister was there, otherwise we would have noticed (trust me). Hmm, send a pic of her, maybe she was lurking around.
